- What sparked your passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine? Was it a personal experience, a mentor, or pure curiosity?
I still remember when I was little—whenever I had a fever, my grandma would perform Gua Sha on my back, and by the next day, the fever would be gone! My fascination with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) started early, and as I pursued my studies, I witnessed countless miracles brought about by TCM. It continues to amaze me every day!

- What’s your TCM journey? Any standout moments from your education or training that shaped your path?
I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in TCM, completing a total of eight years of study, followed by three years as a medical resident. My education and training have provided me with a strong foundation in both Western and Traditional Chinese medicine, allowing me to integrate these approaches to deliver the most effective treatments.
- What’s your superpower in TCM? (Specialties, techniques, or styles you’re known for!)
I believe I can bring a positive and uplifting vibe to my followers! Many people tell me that just seeing me instantly brightens their mood. One of my clients worked with me for three sessions and felt a noticeable boost in her energy!
- Tell us about a time when you saw TCM make a real difference in someone’s life—it must have been so rewarding!
I’ve witnessed countless times how TCM can make a profound difference in people’s lives. We can relieve musculoskeletal pain in just one or two sessions and help restore overall health using our expertise and treatments!
- What’s one TCM tip or wisdom you think everyone should know? (A life-changing herbal remedy or secret self-care hack?)
Massage your Zusanli (ST36) acupoint daily! This powerful point is believed to nourish the body and boost energy. Regular stimulation can support digestive health and promote overall well-being!
- What’s one thing about TCM that surprises most people? Any myths you’d like to bust?
Many people believe that TCM takes time to show results, but some acupressure points can lower high blood pressure instantly! During acupuncture, patients often feel the flow of Qi throughout their bodies, and many experiences an immediate boost in energy after treatment.
7. How do you blend TCM with modern health practices to create a unique healing
experience?
I believe that sometimes 1 plus 1 can be greater than 2—combining TCM techniques with
modern health practices can yield the best results. I integrate essential oils, aromatherapy,
laser therapy, and red light therapy to enhance the effectiveness of treatments and support
overall well-being.
8.Quick-fire round! What’s your go-to herb, favorite tea, or must-try acupuncture point?
Goji berry is my go-to herb! In today’s fast-paced society, stress is a common issue that can
deplete liver and kidney essence. Goji berries help restore this essence, making them a great
natural remedy. They’re easy to find and simple to use—just add them to your tea!
I also highly recommend trying the Zusanli (ST36) acupuncture point. Often referred to as
the ‘chicken soup’ of acupuncture points, it helps tonify vital Qi and support overall health
and vitality.
9. What do you love to do when you’re not in the clinic? Share a fun fact about yourself!
A fun fact about me—I’m a foodie who loves exploring different cuisines, and I’m also a
big fan of Korean dramas and music! I enjoy trying new dishes wherever I go, and my
Korean friends even joke that I’m ‘half Korean’!
- If you could share one message with your patients or followers about health, balance, or life, what would it be?
“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”
